Hair today, gone tomorrow

It's gone!
And I'm ok! I didn't cry once!

My wig, which previously looked odd due to my hair being all lumpy under the wig liner, looks natural! (Picture at left is the wig!)

And my head does not look funny with next-to-no hair!

Pictures to follow when I get them uploaded.

Updated - with pictures! If you disagree about my head, don't tell me. LOL.

YAY! I'm glad to hear that you have a good head! I guess there's really no telling until you actually shave it all off eh? I'm also very glad to hear that the wig fits well now. I bet it's fabulous. :)

P.S. Your package will be going in the mail ASAP...

You look great, both with the short hair and with the wig. The wigs my mom had were horrid! You must have found a good wig person. Wishing you the best and fingers crossed you beat this evil and your hair comes back thicker and lovelier then ever.

You are my hero! You look fab, with or without the wig. And I'm amazed that you got through the "ordeal" without crying -- I would have blubbed all the way through, I bet (but I'm a big baby and a bit vain when it comes to my hair!). It's great to see you smiling... :)

The wig is beautiful and natural (love the color!), but you still shine without it. Glad you chose to make the transition an easy one. You're truly fabulous!

Dear Lisa, you look so pretty -- with and without the wig. (And you're right, it does look natural -- I thought it was a "before" picture.)

Good for you! I felt so much better after I took those clippers to my head. Control! And I never wore my wigs once - not ONCE! I loved my shaved and then bald head. Really! Thank God for nicely shaped heads!

Will be cheering you on.

OMG - I thought the wig was a "before" picture too! It's gorgeous!

But I agree with you - your head is every bit as lovely without it too. :)

Beautiful indeed. Count me in as one of those who thought your wig picture was the before picture. My grandmother's hair came back so curly after her chemo, and a friend I work with who had breast cancer had the same thing happen. It was beautiful. Kind of like a prize for having to go though everything else. And good for you for just taking things in your own hands!

You look fantastic! And that smile just sends out a message to the world that this cancer doesn't stand a chance! The short haircut really makes your eyes stand out too which is a very good thing:)

Don't change anything about that pretty smile of yours, Lisa. They make women's wigs look great on you! I'm just curious if that wig right there is made up of organic or synthetic materials. My wife's Motown Tress wigs look so real that most people don't even notice she's wearing something over her head. Plus, it's also easy for her to change styles.
