All is right with the world.

G and I made up, I made a terrific dinner (stuffed shells - yum!) for my brother-in-law's visit tonight, and the Steelers beat Cleveland. (Well, they almost have anyway. They probably will have by the time I'm finished typing this post.)

The only negative thing right now is that I have to go to work in less than eight hours, and I'm on call this week. Yuck.

Sounds like you had a good evening. At least your team won. The Ravens sucked BIG ass as usual yesterday...

Hope this week goes smoothly for you.

yeah, well, the steelers still suck! beating us is nothing to crow about. my attention is all focused on the cavaliers. lebron can beat...oh, wait...pittsburgh doesn't have a basketball team.

glad things are better for you.

Steph and Laura (and Catherine when she reads this, LOL), I love you both dearly but there is simply a genetic predisposition here in my town against the Browns and I simply can't fight it. (Kathy, indirectly that applies to the Ravens too since they USED to be the Browns, but we'll let that one slide for now.)

;-) You know I'm kidding, right?? Or am I? hehehe

Glad to hear that things are looking up. Well aside from the work issue....

Oh, I'm so glad you made up. It just sucks to be fighting. And on top of all you've been going through (which of course makes you more prone to fight, in a way), who needs it? Now, if we could just get you an indefinite "get out of work free" pass, then we'd talking.

And, this New England fan says, "Whatever!" to the Steelers win. But I'm happy for you, I guess.

Hey, although I am not a rabid football fan by any means, I root for the Steelers, too. I grew up in Ohio not far from the PA border, and people in that area were split about 50/50 between being Browns fans and Steelers fans, which made for some heated discussions, as you can imagine. Since my parents lived in Pittsburgh for a few years before I was born, my family was of the Steelers persuasion.

My husband grew up as a Bengals fan. Poor guy.

I'm glad that you and your husband made up. There's nothing like a fight with a spouse to make things miserable...and nothing like patching things up to make the sun come out again.
